This is the kit lens I got with the camera, not that I really know any better but I am quite happy with this lens. It can go pretty wide at 18mm and still has a bit of reach too 105mm

AF NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8D |
My first lens purchase. This is quite a nice little all rounder lens. I bought it for its great large aperture at f/1.8. Nikon also do a 50mm at f1.4 but for the price difference I stuck with this on. Nice cheep little lens too.

Hama Star 63 Tripod |
Having spent spent all my money on my camera I didn't have a budget for a tripod. I picked this one up cheap. And it works fine. It has the most important features. Sturdy, very lightweight, quick release head, carry case.
Will do me just fine for now.

Hahnel Combi TF Remote Control & Flash Trigger |
Use this alot, great little gadget works as remote shutter release and remote for a flashgun. And because its wireless it can be activated from anywhere within a 100m, whereas the infrared ones only have a range of about 5m and need to be pointed directly at the camera.

PANOSAURUS SPHERICAL PANORAMIC TRIPOD HEAD |
'The Affordable Fully Spherical Panoramic Tripod Head'
The Panosaurus was designed for almost all point and shoot compact and digital SLR cameras on the market today (with a combined camera and lens combination weight of NOT MORE THAN 1.4 KILOS [approx. 3.2 Lbs]).
The design represents two years of evolution to address almost all the compatibility and ease of use issues users want.
It may not be the prettiest kid on the block - but it can hold its own with the big guys on features.
Im sure I will upgrade at some stage, but still better than the homemade one I started with.
